If consumer feedback is anything to go by, Click-A-Brick is a hit with children and parents. Out of the reviews on Amazon.com so far, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
Reviews mention points such as Click-A-Brick’s sturdiness after assemblage, meaning kids can not only create with the building set, but play with their creations afterward. Reviewers also talked about how Click-A-Brick’s size (2cm by 2cm) and how the shapes of the blocks meant they felt less worried about the danger of children putting them in their mouths and swallowing them.
The most common theme in the reviews was how children were engaged by the building set, with reviewers citing children in an age range of four to eight being engaged by the blocks for hours.
Once children were done following the included instructions to build the lion from Click-A-Brick’s Animal Kingdom Safari 30-piece 5-in-1 building block set, they switched over to creating things from their imagination, many of the reviews said. Some reviews also mention how playing with the blocks was a real family affair.
“It is a fun toy that really had me sitting down with the kids and engaging with them as a family,” Amazon.com reviewer Courtney Heppner said.
The positive reviews are validation for Click-A-Brick and proves the toy has found a receptive audience in the competitive toy building sets market, co-founder and brand manager Georg de Gorostiza says.
“Anyone who sells a product knows the customer reviews are the most important piece of information to look at,” de Gorostiza said. “The numbers are nice to see when things are going well — and they are going well for us — but it’s even better to read that people really enjoy Click-A-Brick and it’s bringing people together with their children and keeping them and their children engaged for hours. We’re thrilled that Click-A-Brick has turned out to be such a hit.”
With Click-A-Brick having had a busy launch day and surpassing its first week sales milestone, it’s likely a lot more reviews will start showing up on Amazon.com for the building set, especially after children unwrap their Click-A-Brick sets on Christmas morning. Currently, Click-A-Brick is fulfilling orders. Many people have also signed up to the waiting list for future Click-A-Brick sets.
