Skillmatch Resources, a specialist course provider for the construction sector, has launched a new affordable App based NVQ level 3 qualification aimed at trades people those wishing to go into mangement.

The newly launched course is a pay-as-you-go course, which enables participants to pay weekly while gaining an NVQ level 3 qualification. As the company works with awarding bodies CSkills/NOCN, City & Guilds, and GQA, it has developed a quick, easy, and convenient approach to training.
In 2005 the Government and construction industry jointly announced the need for all sites in London to work towards a shared goal. That goal was that all trade workers would have a skilled worker CSCS blue card. Without one, people would gradually be unable to work on construction sites.
Since then, construction sites around the country have become increasingly strict. While some labourers and trades could still use their green temporary CSCS card, it gradually became harder to be accepted for work. In 2019, the final stage was launched, meaning trades people can no longer work on construction sites without the correct CSCS card.
Skill Match Resource realised the need for trades people to be able to access an affordable course that would fit in with their work. The course launched by Skill Match Resource is the first of its kind and enables people to quickly gain their CSCS card with little disruption to their work, a qualification that for the first time can be done off site at home, without the need of site visits.
