When BaF3 constitutively expresses active tyrosine kinase through cell engineering, it becomes IL-3 independent. The BaF3 stable cell line provided by Creative Biogene is constructed by stably delivering the foreign human BCR-ABL and BCR-ABL-T315I coding sequences into the genome of BaF3 cells mediated by retroviruses. Western blot analysis showed that BCR-ABL and BCR-ABL-T315I were significantly overexpressed in the cell lines.
