During her talks as a keynote speaker, Benincasa will present her renowned “8 Essential Elements For Extreme Performance,” a program Robyn and her teammates discovered in the quests to win what the Discovery Channel called the “Toughest Races on Earth”, the Eco-Challenge and the Raid Gauloises.
These mindset tips and team-building methods that she has shared with teams at some of the largest companies in America are intended to foster a strong workplace culture, providing teams with actionable peak performance strategies that make a great team great and help them cross the most challenging finish lines together, especially when the goals are huge and the stakes are high.
Benincasa is well-known in the sporting world as a world record holder in endurance kayaking, and as the founder of Project Athena, a non-profit that provides grants to both men and women, and helps survivors of medical or traumatic setbacks create their comeback story through adventure and endurance sports. The organization was named CNN’s Heroes in 2014 and offers the opportunity to anyone to join Robyn and their survivors on an adventure as a volunteer.
Robyn has also been sharing her story throughout the business world since 2009, speaking for crowds at Boeing, Yahoo, Intel, and more.
Her speeches center around the idea that motivation in a team setting must come from mutual respect, relinquishment of Ego (the heaviest thing in anyone's pack), “We Thinking” (vs. “Me Thinking”), where everyone leads by talents and not just titles or tenure, and how world-class teams tow one another or carry each other's weight in the tough times.
She shares many examples in her own life to support this from her experience of being a firefighter and a World Champion Adventure Racer who has completed 10 Ironman Triathlons and over 40 10-day non-stop Eco-Challenge Adventure Races through the most remote places on earth to the stage.
Her “8 Essential Elements” also cover principles that apply both in the world of business and extreme sports, such as diligent planning, perseverance, and careful preparation. With each keynote address, she folds these ideas in with the goals of a given company to provide a meaningful, actionable roadmap that team members can follow to foster a mindset that helps turn setbacks into comebacks and teaches them how to become ruled by the hope of success rather than the fear of failure.
April Benetollo, CEO of Momentum, stated, “Robyn was a home-run for our leadership conference of 1,500 attendees. She is high-energy, engaging, inspiring, and does a great job connecting the story of adventure racing and teamwork to leadership in the business world. We received great feedback from our participants, and are very happy to have found Robyn.”
Robyn’s keynotes are 30-60 minutes long and are appropriate for building energy at the beginning of a conference or other company-wide event. She can be booked by filling out the form at the link below, or by calling 888-584-4177.
