Aquamaster Water Treatment Ltd has been awarded the contract to supply and install a commercial duplex water softening system at the Bannatyne Leisure complex in Norwich, Norfolk.

Glen, the Director of A & S Cooling Services, Ltd of Norwich, approached Chris of Aquamaster Water Treatment Ltd for a solution to the hard water lime scale problems that were causing the heat exchangers to scale up. The heat exchangers were scaling up within a year thereby causing a lot of problems to the hot water services especially considering the volume of people using the facility at the leisure centre where the hot water demands are constant.
Chris said it was not surprising that the leisure centre was experiencing such a lot of lime scale build up in the heat exchangers, as the water tested at over 400ppm of hardness, or 23.4 grains per gallon of hardness.
Norwich, Norfolk is a very hard water area, and the effects of all this lime scale within the hot and cold water systems can really cause a lot of damage and problems.
The damage that hard water lime scale causes to a plumbing system can be avoided if a water softener is installed.
