COLORADO SPRINGS, CO–Colorado Springs medical dispensary, The Dankery, recently held a customer appreciation event to celebrate the start of spring and show appreciation for their customers and their support.
The Dankery estimates that approximately 100 people attended their customer appreciation event. Highlights of the event included a wide variety of vendors including those specifically related to the medical cannabis market as well as food and drink vendors. Specifically, food was offered by Rudy’s “Country Store” and Bar-B-Q, and drinks and slushies were served from the Kona Ice Pikes Peak truck. Cannabis centered vendors in attendance included White Mousse Concentrates, Incredibles Chocolate and Infused products, Keef Cola, and Medical Alternatives Clinic. The Dankery was also pleased to offer prizes from various brands.
When asked about why The Dankery decided to hold a customer appreciation event, Kris Fowlkes, the owner of The Dankery said, “It is finally spring, and we just wanted to take the opportunity to show our loyal customers how much we appreciate and are thankful for their support over the years. Hosting this event was also an opportunity for us to show our Colorado Springs community who we are, what we’re about, and share our goals as part of the initiative to support the legalization of adult recreational use of cannabis in Colorado Springs. We hope that this will bring more light to the ballot initiative going on now and the Citizens for Safer Neighborhoods community group. Plus, we just wanted to have fun!”
