Cape Town based – The Coffee Co is celebrating their re-branding as Konig Coffee, which commemorates 17 years in the coffee business in South Africa, since 2001, they actively developed a comprehensive range of hot-beverage vending solutions for large, medium and small offices.
This is a huge milestone for the Cape Town based Coffee Bean & Machine supplier with regional offices in Boksburg and Durban North servicing a franchise network of 38 independently owned businesses, which has provided Coffee Machines to offices around South Africa since 2001, currently serving in excess of 1 million cups of coffee a month.
The Coffee Co got it’s start in 2001 when founder Christo Konig decided to bring coffee-shop-quality products into every workplace, says Konig “we keep our customers satisfied through ongoing service excellence and to empower our franchisees to become successful business people”.
One of the earliest challenges Konig Coffee faced was establishing this relatively new channel of coffee distribution, called Office Coffee Systems, with business owners, whereby employees and clients can get a Cafe Quality hot beverage like Flat White or Espresso at the press of a button.
