The product was launched after the success of several humanitarian projects, in the Amazon, that utilized the water purification kits. Oneness Labs was later created, as a result, in order to make the water purification drops available to more consumers.
Chlorine dioxide is commonly used for a variety of purposes including: at water treatment facilities, industrial and manufacturing facilities, in food and beverage production, for washing fruits and vegetables, and as a sterilizing agent in laboratories.
The purification drops are compliant with the standards of the food industry. Oneness Labs sell both 2 and 4 ounce droppers of two solutions that make up the purification kit. When mixed together, the two form chlorine dioxide. Chloride dioxide releases an active form of oxygen when mixed with water, that acts as an oxidant and antimicrobial agent. Chlorine dioxide will also neutralize taste without discoloring water.
The convenient purification dropper bottle kits work especially well for camping, hiking, emergencies, or any time potable water is not available. Upon application, viruses, bacteria, and some types of parasites are destroyed.
A spokesperson for the company stated: “Oneness Labs is dedicated to making positive changes where they are needed the most. We have teamed up with local non-profit groups in the Peruvian Amazon to improve the health of the local Indigenous cultures. With our customers’ help, we have been able to bring clean water to the local traditional Shipibo tribes and communities that have been struggling with water quality as they adapt to the western world.”
“Oneness Labs has been able to bring clean water to over 100 villages along the rivers of the Peruvian Amazon. Not only are we able to raise the quality of living for these communities, we are also providing them with the skills necessary to ensure that they have clean water in the future,” they added.
