The new course was launched to help healthcare professionals up-skill themselves and advance further in their careers. Those who complete the program will receive a completion card that is valid for two years.

Illinois Safety LLC says that the ACLS Program was established in 1974, and provides care providers with clinical algorithms for the treatment of life-threatening cardiovascular conditions. It can help such professionals address conditions such as sudden cardiac arrest, acute coronary syndrome (ACS), and strokes.

The training center’s ACLS program is recognized by the American Heart Association, hence one’s certification will be recognized in all hospitals. All classes are led by experienced instructors, and emphasizes the importance of team dynamics and effective communication.

The entire course will take around six to seven hours, while certificate renewal lasts for about five hours. Classes will be taught in person—observing proper health protocols—as many hospitals or schools will not accept online certifications.

Students will learn the systematic evaluation of patients, early recognition and management of cardiac or pulmonary episodes, and real-time feedback. They may also get their BLS for a Healthcare Providers Certification on the same day for an additional fee.

Being ACLS certified trains healthcare professionals to work in high-pressure environments, which is vital if they wish to work in intensive care units or emergency departments. The additional knowledge also makes them stand out among a pool of candidates.

Illinois Safety LLC services the greater Chicago area and also offers PALS, CPR, and first aid training. With its ACLS certification course, it provides continuing education that helps healthcare professionals save more lives.

A spokesperson for the firm says: “Heart ailments are one of the leading causes of death in the country, hence the need for hospital workers to acquire ACLS certification. Our program not only allows them to be more effective at their jobs, it also opens many career opportunities.”
