With the new launch, ONLY OATS’ stringent production process intends to ensure the safety, purity, and quality of their gluten-free oats for individuals with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities.
The Purity Protocol, a farm-to-table industry standard endorsed by the Canadian Celiac Association, specifies how oats can be produced and handled to prevent cross-contamination with wheat and other gluten-containing grains.
All of ONLY OATS’ products are made from 100% pure Canadian oats and free from allergens and artificial additives. The producer’s oats are also guaranteed to contain less than 5 parts per million of gluten.
The company’s growers follow extensive safety guidelines when harvesting, cleaning, and packing their oat products to mitigate the risk of any dangerous cross contamination. In addition, the company’s oats are grown in fields that have not grown glutenous grains such as wheat, rye, or barley for a minimum of three years.
Each year, the company conducts thorough inspections and sample testing to guarantee the safety and purity of its oats before arriving at its dedicated gluten-free milling facility.
Once they have arrived at ONLY OATS’ milling facility, the company’s products undergo a comprehensive analysis in order to detect any possible gluten-residue. If a gluten-containing kernel is detected in a sample, the entire supply is discarded.
