Balance Adventure Camp (303-529-9608) announces enrollment is now open for their nature-based summer program for children ages 6-11 in Castle Rock and Highlands Ranch areas.

-- The full-day camp, taking place from June 2nd through August 1st, helps children disconnect from screens and connect with nature. The program features the L.E.A.F. Method—Leadership, Exploration, Adventure, and Friendship—which forms the core of the camp's approach to outdoor education.

Children spend their days engaged in activities such as hiking, fishing, biking, arts and crafts, outdoor survival techniques, and plant identification. The camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing a structured day for busy parents.

"We create a safe and fun learning environment where children can have their best summer ever," said a camp representative. "Our goal is to prepare children for a lifetime of joy in the outdoors through hands-on experiences."

Safety remains the top priority at Balance Adventure Camp. The program maintains staff-to-camper ratios of 1:10 for younger children (ages 6-8) and 1:15 for older children (ages 9-12). All staff members hold CPR and First Aid certifications, with senior staff certified in Wilderness First Response.

Unlike building-based programs, Balance Adventure Camp takes place entirely outdoors. Staff meet children at specific pickup locations in Castle Rock and Highlands Ranch, then transport them to designated outdoor areas for the day's activities.

The camp costs $500 per week per child, with sibling discounts and scholarships available. The nine-week program is divided into weekly sessions.
