Clear aligners are suitable for patients with crooked or overlapping teeth. While misaligned teeth may seem like a minor dental inconvenience, they can cause more serious dental issues if left untreated. These problems may include gum disease, cavities, tooth enamel decay, bad breath, or chronic jaw problems.
The clinic offers high-quality Invisalign and Suresmile branded clear aligners. Clear braces are removable appliances and are almost invisible when worn. Unlike traditional metal braces, aligners can be detached when brushing or eating.
The treatment involves wearing a series of dental trays for a prescribed period to gradually correct teeth alignment. Each tray is custom-fitted to a patient via a 3D intraoral scanner. Scans are performed every couple of weeks to produce new trays and monitor the treatment as it progresses. For best results, it is recommended that aligners be worn for at least 22 hours a day.
