BOSTON– Boston School of Real Estate (BSRE), one of the leading online real estate schools in Massachusetts, celebrated #DogeDay by announcing that the company now accepts Dogecoin as an official payment method on their school website.
BSRE has been excited to embrace the shift to cryptocurrency. There is a lot of excitement around accepting alternative forms of currency. Dogecoin was founded in late 2013 by Markus and Jackson Palmer. Markus believes Dogecoin is a “friendly, low barrier to entry” into cryptocurrency. While the currency is volatile, BSRE believes it is the perfect time to test the waters. “Cryptocurrency is here to stay and we need to adapt to survive – Accepting DOGE coin makes taking classes accessible to many more students,” said Claretta Webb, Lead Instructor, at BSRE. “We want to make it easy for our students to have access to learning however works best for them, and that means letting them complete transactions with the payment method that has gained recent popularity.” BSRE joins many companies across the country that are embracing the need to offer alternative payment options.
