The 5 items include nuggets such as how:
The idea for creating the Body Movement Workshops came about as FLUX keeps offering classes, courses and workshops in a wide range of movement forms….
The Body Movement Workshops including Capoeira, Aerial silk, Kalaripayattu & Arm Balance have actually been in development for the past one year of corona virus inactivity throughout the world and had a team of 25 people directly and indirectly contributing to give it its final shape while relentlessly working on it, which is considered large by industry standards. This goes to show that it takes more than a few great minds to pull something great together.
FLUX almost wasn’t able to bring the Body Movement Workshops to see the light of day, when corona virus kept threatening in between with its second wave going out of control. The problem was overcome by taking proper safety measures to keep the pandemic away from afflicting them through affecting our team’s immunity in a negative way.
FLUX has done something different compared to other businesses in the Movement Arts space, by designing it in a way that boosts the innate immunity of its participants.
The Body Movement Workshops will be released as part of FLUX’s greater plans to develop a healthy movement pattern that turns one innately healthier even in the most challenging environmental conditions. It’s hoped this goal will be achieved by the time participants make these movement patters the first nature of their mind body system
FLUX got it’s start when Founder Sahiba Singh noticed a growing need for boosting innate immunity during the present Covid-affected times. She has 15 years of experience in dance and body movement arts. These include Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Bharatanatyam, and Kalaripayattu to name a few. She has distilled her own rich experiences, learning and understanding of body movement into a brand new dance movement form with the help of her prior experience in the Movement Arts space. It was in 2019 that Sahiba decided to go ahead and start her own company with the name and style of FLUX to help people with movement arts and their positive effects on mind body health.
Sahiba Singh is quoted saying: “We like to do things to connect with our students and trainees. Things like events, workshops, courses and regular classes along with connecting with the online via newsletters and social media, and releasing these little factoids ahead of our Body Movement Workshops launch are what make a real effective difference.”
