-- Get ready for two nights of high-energy live music, delicious food, and family fun at the New Orleans Square Block Party in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma! This year’s block party will be taking place on June 27 - June 28 at 6:00 PM - 10:30 PM. The Broken Arrow block party annual tradition is about to ramp up! Don’t miss Broken Arrow’s Independence Day celebration. One of the great selling points is the free entry, which makes it great fun for the whole family. Make sure to bring some chairs or blankets, because seating is not provided at this event.
This two day celebration of Independence Day will come with a spectacular firework display at 10 PM. The block party in Broken Arrow will also have plenty of carnival / boardwalk themed vendors, and a variety of food trucks with amazing eats to satisfy every craving. Bring the kids! The “Kids Zone” has fun activities for the little ones to enjoy. There will also be energizing live concerts, presented by Waters Edge Winery. Enjoy live performances from a list of incredible artists (lineup coming soon).
Live concerts are a staple of the party. Previous performances at the block party have included many notable members from bands such as Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, Boston, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Foreigner, and Kansas. Those aren’t the only performances though! Broken Arrow has a plethora of talented local bands including FatCat, Highway 51, Groove Yard, Bad Decisions, and 80’s Something. These live concerts are put together by the award winning Waters Edge Winery, a notorious winery and bistro located in the Rose District of Broken Arrow.
The New Orleans Block Party is a great time for all Broken Arrow residents and visitors to celebrate Independence Day. Remember to bring sunscreen.
