Being an elite baseball player requires many different attributes. Functional strength, rotational power, speed, accuracy, mobility, coordination, and balance are just some of the many traits baseball players need to have to be successful. The RMT Club is designed to help players enhance their performance and achieve maximum output.
The RMT Club is a 21-inch club intended to imitate the size, shape, weight, and feel of a baseball bat and ball. Its patented design features a fixed reinforced handle for multi-directional movement and an increased range of motion. Its durable, flexible club head also contains internal shifting weights, which create resistance and provide audible feedback for proper positioning, timing, and coordination.
In terms of baseball essentials, the RMT Club helps players hit farther, throw harder, and field better. It integrates the hips, core, shoulders, and arms to increase strength and rotational power. It also improves mechanics, fluidity, and tempo by teaching the body to move as one complete unit.
The RMT Club is also an important piece of conditioning equipment. By engaging the core, trunk, shoulders, and arms, players develop a faster first step, quicker ball release, and better timing, accuracy, and coordination. Stamina, endurance, and fitness are also improved.
WeckMethod offers the RMT Club in four different variations—2 lb, 4 lb, 6 lb, and 8 lb. The 2 lb and 4 lb models can be used by all ages, and are suitable for baseball players of any athletic ability, or players rehabbing from injuries. The 6 lb and 8 lb models are intended for more experienced players who are 12 years or older and looking for more advanced training solutions.
“I use the RMT Club every chance I get to warm up and strengthen my body,” said Austin Barnes, catcher for the 2020 World Series Champion, LA Dodgers. “I can feel how it carries over from training to the field.”
