The Yew Tree Indian restaurant Slough has defied convention in the launch of it's brand new name; The Indian Courtyard. The idea behind the change is to have a name that reflects the quality authentic & traditional cuisine served up.

Earlier today, The Yew Tree Indian restaurant in Slough finally announced the official launch of it’s new name; The Indian Courtyard, which has been in the works since Summer 2015. The main aim is to cement the branding to reflect what the place has become, a top Indian restaurant serving original recipes with a flamboyant touch. See the Indian Courtyard at The Yew Tree here;

Joydeep Chaterjee, owner at The Indian Courtyard restaurant , says: “We wanted a name that best reflects our service. Anyone familiar with the Indian restaurant market will probably have noticed how everyone else seems to very similar names. This is OK but an issue when really trying to distinguish yourself and portray the positive elements of your establishment.”

So as a welcome breath of fresh air, The Indian Courtyard will instead be accentuating the strengths of the venue which boasts a big and beautiful courtyard and garden unlike any other venue of this kind in Slough. It would seem spaces like this, complete with the standard of food and service that the Indian Courtyard delivers are few and far between.

Joydeep went on to say “We want to give our customers a chance to have more fun with the people they care about without it costing an arm and a leg. With our new name we hope to instill that feeling. We want them to feel relaxed and like they want to come back again and again when using our restaurant. Trying something new is always a risk, but it’s a risk we believe is worth taking.”

The newly branded Indian Courtyard has been in business for over 6 months, being established earlier this year. Since day one it has always aimed to make people’s lives easier, fill souls with joy and stomachs with great tasting, authentic gourmet Indian food.

This isn’t the first time the restaurant has defied convention either. In Summer 2015 they caused a stir when they were the first Indian restaurant in the UK to host a seafood festival which went down as a huge success both locally and nationally.

The restaurant has just launched under it’s new name in November 2015. To find out more about The Indian Courtyard at The Yew Tree please visit;
