Association of Auto Sales Professionals Certification with Marketplace Master

The Association of Auto Sales Professionals now offers sales certifications during Marketplace Master’s Dealership Series Conference and EXPO

DALLAS — The board of directors of the Association of Auto Sales Professionals (AASP) announced it would offer both its Sales Manager and Sales Association certifications during the Marketplace Master Dealership Series Conference and Exposition to be held here Sept. 6-8.

The Marketplace Master Dealership Series Conference and EXPO, which will host its inaugural event here, has been created to bring expert advice, sales training, and marketing best practices to automotive retailers and sales professionals facing slowing sales and increased pressure on sales margins. The unique event will take place over three days with intense education and training, with plenty of time for camaraderie with good food and drink.

The AASP Certification Programs are designed to enhance sales team performance, CSI ratings, and profitability through education, training, and motivation from the nation’s top experts in all aspects of dealership enterprises. Certifications will be based on attendance at 10 Marketplace Master workshops and keynote speeches spanning 13 hours over the course of the three-day event.

Business Partners Beto Paredes and Michael Jackson, creators of the Marketplace Master Series, said the lineup of industry experts at their inaugural event made this the perfect opportunity to incorporate the AASP Certification Program.

Paredes, a senior level business developer and engineer who has lead teams in 40 professional sectors responsible for launching more than 2,000 online projects, said he jumped at the opportunity.

“Sales manager and associate certifications are needed in our industry,” Paredes said. “When you look at the caliber of our trainers and their wealth of experience, having attendees earn a valuable certification only enhances their educational experience, and adds value for the dealership principals who facilitate their trip.”

Jackson, founder and now chairman of the board of Auto Search Technologies, an international website design and search engine optimization firm, said this training is proven effective and will benefit everyone at the dealership.

All 13 hours of training will be required for the AASP Management Certification and 9 hours will be required for the AASP Sales Certification and to earn the certificates attendance will be taken at all workshops and seminars. These training events were hand-picked veterans of the automotive industry.

Taylor, known as the “King of Prospecting,” was a salesman for many years that developed tools, techniques, and prospecting methodologies resulting in regular sales of more than 40 units a month, and many months of more than 50 units. His training has helped hundreds of young sales people get to, maintain and surpass 30 Units a Month.
