-- Apple Tree Nursery Schools announced today they would donate 1% of all profits of all their sales to help young people aged 10 – 18.
Apple Tree Nursery Schools founder, Kate Childs says they’ve always admired the The Starr Trust and the work they do helping young people aged 10 – 18. She said they’re thrilled to be able to give to an organisation that has given so much and done so much good over the years.
She said parents choosing an Apple Tree Montessori Nursery School will now know, not only do they get the best early years education for their children using the Montessori method , they’ll also be helping young people aged 10 – 18 fulfil their potential.
In addition, they will be participating in fundraising activities throughout the year including our Golf Days and encouraging further support from families of the nursery children. Co-Founder Nick Childs is attending the Star Trust West to East Bike Ride and he’s threatened to bring some friends too!
Here’s why Apple Tree Nursery Schools were keen to become a supporter:
“Apple Tree Nursery Schools is extremely proud to be a supporter of the Starr Trust.
When we first attended a Starr Trust ball a year or so ago we were incredibly impressed by the great work the Trust carries out in the local community and by how many others were committing their time and energy in support.
The real life stories of how the Trust has helped so many young people to fulfil their potential were very moving and we knew straight away that we wanted to be more involved!
Our belief is that all children should have the same opportunity to become the best version of themselves, not limited by their early years learning experiences. We are determined to provide the very best early years experiences for all the children in our care.
The similarities of objective for the Starr Trust and Apple Tree Nursery Schools are therefore clear for all to see and we’re really looking forward to being part of the Starr Trust’s onward journey!”
– Nick Childs, Co-Founder of Apple Tree Nursery Schools
“We are very much looking forward to working with Apple Tree Nursery Schools in the years to come and are delighted they’ve chosen to support us. Without the support of businesses like this, we wouldn’t be able to reach as many young people as we do. So a BIG thank you to Nick and Kate Childs for your kind support.”
– Rob Starr – Chairman, the Starr Trust
