Sir Winston Churchill Pub Complexe will be in the heart of the action on the Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival with its own line-up of festivities to compliment the party at street level.

-- June in Montreal means The Canadian Grand Prix Formula 1 race and also means the twentieth edition of the Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival. This three-day event will start at noon on Thursday, June 6th and continue until Saturday, June 8th. Sir Winston Churchill Pub Complexe will be in the heart of the action on Crescent Street with its own line-up of festivities to compliment the party at street level.


Winnie’s Bar Restaurant has announced their live music line-up for the Grand Prix weekend featuring the popular group, ‘The Jones’, starting at 9:30 on Thursday evening and at 10:30 on Friday and Saturday. DJ Shamrock will be spinning the tunes at Winnie’s Bar Restaurant during band breaks so the music never stops.


Sir Winston Churchill Pub Complexe are pleased to present DJ Francis Lesage and DJ José Galarregui on the Corona Stage at street level on Saturday, June 8th starting at 11:30 AM.

Crescent Street is closed to traffic for this event and is a free venue for race aficionados, tourists and Montrealers. Every night there are live performances on the Corona stage by popular Canadian bands. DJs mix the hottest music all day long and we are pleased to present DJ Francis Lesage and DJ José Galarregui. We started the party scene on Crescent Street over 50 years ago and we are in the centre of it all during Grand Prix Weekend.”

To top off the F1 weekend, Sir Winston Churchill Pub Complex will keep the party going on Sunday after the race is over and the crews are packing up. Happy Hour returns to Sir Winston Churchill Pub and Winnie’s after a 3-day vacation. Happy Hour starts at 4:30 and goes until 8: PM. The Pub is also offering special Sunday prices for a 26 oz.bottle of Smirnoff vodka or Captain Morgan’s spiced rum for $99.00. Winnie’s Bar Restaurant will be providing live entertainment on the second level of the complex featuring ‘The Jones’.


Jan Wilson, General Manager concludes, “Many people will not be leaving to go home from the Canadian Grand Prix until Monday, so we decided to keep the party going strong on Crescent Street for one more day.”
