Chicago Ridge is 20 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, with a population of 14,305 according to 2010 census. The village borders remnants of a feeder canal for the Illinois & Michigan Canal that reached from the Little Calumet River westward through the Saganash-kee Slough.

In addition, working closely with Our Lady of the Ridge Catholic School, Oak Lawn High School, and Richards High School has ensured that reaching all of the youth of Chicago Ridge is important. Beyond the classroom, participation in events like the annual Lock-In and the Chicago Ridge PTA’s March Madness, which gives another opportunity to further engage the youth of Chicago Ridge in a positive manner.
